Scope of Work

The Town of Edson and Yellowhead County have come together to redevelop and replace components of the existing Leisure Centre in Edson, AB.  The project scope includes the replacement of the existing pool with a 25m new lap pool, leisure pool, hot tub and slide; a new 700 seat spectator arena, a new gymnasium and walking track; a renovated curling club; a renovated area; site works and infrastructure upgrades.

The Thunderchild Wellness Centre was conceptualized to bring recreation, administration and healthcare under one roof.  The facility includes an NHL-size ice rink, a fieldhouse with multiple indoor sports courts, a childcare facility, doctor and dental offices, council chambers and support offices.

Located in Tofino, BC, this regional recreational facility will serve multi-generational families and is being designed to meet the growing needs of the eight west coast communities.  A unique partnership between the Districts of Tofino and Ucluelet, Long Beach Area C and the First Nations communities of Ahousaht, Toquaht, Yuułuiłath, Tla-o-qui-aht and Hesquiaht.  This much-needed new facility includes an arena and aquatics centre that will service over 8,700 West Coast residents as well as many of the annual 800,000 plus guests.

West Vancouver Place for Sport is a partnership between the District of West Vancouver and West Vancouver Schools to replace the existing deteriorating track and poorly draining grass field at West Vancouver Secondary School with a new track and lit artificial turf field.

This new sports facility will include a six-lane track and an artificial turf field with lighting, long jump, high jump, triple jump, pole vault, and shotput, with training areas for discus, hammer, and javelin throwing. The washrooms at West Vancouver Secondary School will be renovated as part of the project and be open to the public outside of school hours to accommodate the facility.

This new-build project brought a 22,400-sq. ft. sports and recreation centre to the Akisqnuk First Nation near Windermere, BC. The facility includes a gymnasium with running track, change rooms, concessions, and administrative offices. The building was constructed as a pre-engineered steel structure, with insulated roof and exterior and interior wall panels.

This project will replace an aging recreation complex and library with a new 205,000 sq. ft. facility in Port Coquitlam, BC. The Centre will include a leisure pool, three ice sheets, library, multi-use spaces, games room and lounge, café, gym, fitness centre, parking, outdoor plazas, and sport courts.

This addition to the existing Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre in Cochrane, AB greatly expanded its range of activities. The addition included a new main entrance and lobby, a curling club with six ice sheets and a 400-seat lounge, an aquatic center with an eight-lane, competitive lap pool, a leisure pool with wave generation, a therapy pool, waterslides, and an outdoor splash park.

This substantial upgrade project in Williams Lake, BC had four main components: expanding shallow-water leisure pools from 540 to 3,700 sq. ft.; replacing the main six-lane lap pool tank in its current space; adding a multi-purpose fitness centre to a second floor; and replacing mechanical and electrical systems.
